  धर्म सिद्धान्त १. सभी प्रभु के पुत्र– ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूत: सनातन:। मन: षष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति।। (गीता, १५/७)   सभी मानव ईश्वर की सन्तान हैं।  २. मानव तन की सार्थकता– अनित्यमसुखं लोकमिमं प्राप्य भजस्व माम्।। (गीता, ९/३३)   सुखरहित, क्षणभंगुर किन्तु दुर्लभ मानव-तन को पाकर मेरा भजन कर अर्थात् भजन का अधिकार मनुष्य-शरीरधारी को है।  ३. मनुष्य की केवल दो जाति– द्वौ भूतसर्गौ  लोकेऽस्मिन्दैव आसुर एव च। दैवो विस्तरश: प्रोक्त आसुरं पार्थ मे शृणु।। (गीता, १६/६)  मनुष्य केवल दो प्रकार के हैं– देवता और असुर। जिसके हृदय में दैवी सम्पत्ति कार्य करती है वह देवता है तथा जिसके हृदय में आसुरी सम्पत्ति करती है वह असुर है। तीसरी कोई अन्य जाति सृष्टि में नहीं है।  ४. हर कामना ईश्वर से सुलभ– त्रैविद्या मां सोमपा: पूतपापा यज्ञैरिष्ट्वा स्वर्गतिं प्रार्थयन्ते। ते पुण्यमासाद्य  सुरेन्द्रलोक- मश्नन्ति दिव्यान्दिवि देवभोगान्।। (गीता, ९/२०) मुझे भजकर लोग स्वर्ग तक की कामना करते हैं; मैं उन्हें देता हूँ। अर्थात् सब कुछ एक परमात्मा से सुलभ है। ५. भगवान की शरण से पापों का नाश– अपि चेदसि पापेभ्य:

‘गीता’ का सारांश इस श्लोक से प्रकट होता है– एकं शास्त्रं देवकीपुत्र गीतम् एको देवो देवकीपुत्र एव। एको मंत्रस्तस्य नामानि यानि कर्माप्येकं तस्य देवस्य सेवा।। अर्थात् एक ही शास्त्र है जो देवकीपुत्र भगवान ने श्रीमुख से गायन किया– गीता! एक ही प्राप्त करने योग्य देव है। उस गायन में जो सत्य बताया– आत्मा! सिवाय आत्मा के कुछ भी शाश्वत नहीं है। उस गायन में उन महायोगेश्वर ने क्या जपने के लिये कहा? ओम्। अर्जुन! ओम् अक्षय परमात्मा का नाम है, उसका जप कर और ध्यान मेरा धर। एक ही कर्म है गीता में र्विणत परमदेव एक परमात्मा की सेवा। उन्हें श्रद्धा से अपने हृदय में धारण करें।अस्तु, आरम्भ से ही गीता आपका शास्त्र रहा है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के हजारों वर्ष पश्चात् परवर्ती जिन महापुरुषों ने एक ईश्वर को सत्य बताया, गीता के ही सन्देशवाहक हैं। ईश्वर से ही लौकिक एवं पारलौकिक सुखों की कामना, ईश्वर से डरना, अन्य किसी को ईश्वर न मानना– यहाँ तक तो सभी महापुरुषों ने बताया; किन्तु ईश्वरीय साधना, ईश्वर तक की दूरी तय करना– यह केवल गीता में ही सांगोपांग क्रमबद्ध सुरक्षित है। गीता से सुख-शान्ति तो मिलती ही है, यह अक्षय अनामय
